  Ambience was nice inside and around the restaurant, but being next to a dam on a rainy evening, we were dining with flies and getting bitten by mosquitoes as the windows and ceiling are not sealed properly.

  A fantastic place to eat, we had breakfast here and it totally beats out anywhere. Great location with the cellar door right next to it. Totally worth going to town just to visit, fresh produce either from the actual property or from local producers.

  No where near fine dining . Would rate it as good home cooked food but wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for something special. Service is average and staff look unhappy to be there .

  My husband and I came here for our anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful meal. The food is exquisite and the service is attentive, without being invasive. The veal carpaccio rates as one of the best dishes I have eaten. Served with matching wines from the Robert Stein winery, you would struggle to find fault with this restaurant. Outstanding.

  The Chef knows best. One of the best breakfast meals I have had in a very long time. Try the bacon and egg gnocchi with truffle oil and the potato and dill pancake.

  Toasted bread and cold meats with dips for dinner, hmmm. Gnocchi was very oily. Presentation was ok but fusion of flavours was unimaginative.

  We had the 8 course menu and it was divine. The gnocchi was a favourite for the 4 of us as well as the salmon with orange/mandarin. I apparecite what some people are saying about price but you do find that out up front and make a choice so that’s an error on their side :) we had a very wonderful time, great ambiance, perfect views, relevant price for the fresh and delicious food and gorgeous bottles of wine we had. Great place to go if you enjoy nice food
